By now you’ve tried dry sautéing your mushrooms and probably will never go back to cooking mushrooms as a soggy mess! Today, I want to share with you a little recipe that I find to be very easy and very delicious! King Oyster vegan Scallops.

First quickly rinse off any loose debris or dirt of your mushrooms and pat dry with paper towel.

Chop off the Cap of the King Oyster and cut 1” or 1 finger width slices of the stem, as shown below.

Next, in a nice thick frying pan get it as hot as possible. You’ll want to dry Sautee the mushrooms, careful not placing too many mushrooms in at once as it will cause the pan to steam the mushrooms vs searing. Once the mushrooms start to slightly brown and smell fragrant, add butter or oil, pinch of salt and pepper. Sear till nice and golden brown, you can also leave it with a nice little char.

Serve warm or place onto your favorite dish. Bon Appetite
