Porous Grow Media
Our porous grow media is made of a blend of specialty minerals that hold 2x more moisture than Perlite. This unique blend of minerals also helps with absorb microorganism contaminants like bacteria. Our Grow Media is typically used in mushroom cultivation as it includes zeolite and clay minerals such as montmorillonite and bentonite. These minerals can also provide a suitable substrate for mushroom growth and may offer additional benefits such as improved soil structure and nutrient retention. You can also use this in your bulk substrate to help store excess water the mycelium will need as it grows.
